Nell Snaidas, soprano, and Eduardo Egüez, vihuela and Baroque guitar, present "¡Vaya de Fiesta!", evening of music from Renaissance Spain and the Baroque era of Latin America, with music by Mudarra, Narváez, Martínez de Arce, and more as a part of the conference "De Canciones y Cancioneros: Music and Literary Sources of the Luso-Hispanic Song Tradition" at Princeton University. In celebration of the six first editions of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz recently donated to Firestone Library, the conference will include a discussion panel on Villancicos and Sor Juana, and the participation of Early Music Princeton.
