Soprano Nell Snaidas, praised by the New York Times for her “vocally ravishing” performances, curates this program which will take us from the Spanish Baroque to the music of Peru, Guatemala, and Mexico in the New World. Joining Nell will be Daniel Swenberg on lute and theorbo, Rex Benincasa with all things percussive, Francisco Fullana and Siwoo Kim on violin, and Michelle Djokic playing cello-continuo. This is certainly a destination event. On Friday, September 13 at 6:00 PM we will present a “Musical Offering” of baroque works to be discovered by you like a box of truffles in the magical setting of The Chapel at Kings Oaks.
